How to pass BT, MA and FA first time
Each Applied Knowledge exam lasts two hours and is worth 100 marks. Section A has objective test questions: short questions with set answers to pick from. Section B has multi-task questions: longer questions split into linked parts. Every question is compulsory, and a computer marks your answers.

You need 50%. ACCA sets the pass mark at “50 per cent for all exams”, so 50 marks out of 100. In this 30-question mock, the same line sits at 15 correct answers. A blank scores zero, so always pick an option.
Treat 50% as the floor, not the goal. Your result splits your score by syllabus area, one block of the official syllabus, such as “Budgeting” in MA. A low area shows what to revise first.
BT, MA and FA are on-demand computer-based exams (CBEs): you choose your own exam date. In India you sit them at a licensed CBE centre, not at home. ACCA has withdrawn remote exams in countries that have exam centres, and India is one of them.
It works like booking a driving test slot. You pick a date, contact the centre, sit the exam there and pay the centre directly. QuintEdge runs an on-demand CBE centre in Mumbai. The real exams give you 120 minutes for 100 marks. That is 1.2 minutes per mark, or about 2.4 minutes for a two-mark question. This mock gives 1.5 minutes per question, a little tighter, so finishing on time here is a good sign.
Illustrative: after 24 minutes you should be near question 16, because 24 ÷ 1.5 = 16. If you are still on question 10, flag the slow question and move on.
Not always. ACCA gives exemptions, which let you skip a paper you already covered in a degree or qualification. Commerce graduates often qualify for some, depending on the university and degree. ACCA decides each case and charges a fee for each exemption.

Illustrative MA working: a print shop pays ₹10,000 a month in rent, plus ₹2 of paper and ink per card. At 1,000 cards, total cost is ₹10,000 + (1,000 × ₹2) = ₹12,000, so ₹12 a card. At 2,000 cards, it falls to ₹7, because the fixed rent is spread wider. Rent is a fixed cost, like a monthly phone plan you pay however much you use it. The paper and ink are a variable cost, because they rise with every card.
